Personal
This year Kevin and I celebrated eight years together and our third wedding anniversary. This is our first anniversary as a family of four and we decided to have both a day and night celebration.
Most of you have asked how I manage to work full time and still find the balance to be a wife and mother. Today on the blog, I will share three tips on how I manage to balance it all, or TRY to!
I want to share a tip I’ve learned over the years that helps me feel good, look good, and my wallet feel good too : Mix high end pieces with low end pieces and some just in between!
What’s next for the Warren family? Well, we aren’t quite sure. It’s almost cliche to say “the sky is the limit”, but that is how I feel!
I think it’s important to “find the light at the end of the tunnel” in any situation life brings you. I remind myself that this is truly fun and that it keeps me motivated and inspired.
These past two months have been an adjusting period for all of us as a family. Our newest addition, Gavin, had a very difficult first few weeks.
I still can’t believe I am a mommy of two kiddos! Gavin is three weeks old and we are finally out of the house running errands and finding our groove.
Gavin was born on August 16th at 1:32pm. I wish I could say it was an easy and stress-free delivery but it was not.
Days seem longer and my feet are significantly larger. I had all my energy up until this point, and now I know my body is telling me to slow down and enjoy these last few weeks. This could be my last pregnancy and our last few weeks as a family of three.
I encourage you to enjoy every moment with your children that you can. Love on your significant other as much as possible. And if you’re sitting somewhere reading this and contemplating if you should go out, go!
Being 31 weeks pregnant has made me feel uncomfortable and unlike myself lately. Instead of allowing myself to dwell with the discomfort, and at times pain of the pregnancy from the weight of the belly, I have decided to embrace the bump and just go with it!
This past weekend I had the opportunity of attending BlogHer Conference in Orlando, FL and I am so glad that I did. I believe it’s important to be transparent with you all and really share some hesitations and insecurities I had before deciding to go.
This pregnancy is flying by and I am so excited to see my friends and loved ones while we celebrate the soon arrival of baby Gavin. I’ve rounded up a quick of my “little man’s essentials” here on the blog today!
A recent work trip of mine turned out to be one of my favorite trips so far. It’s difficult for me to explain exactly what happened or triggered this different mind set for me, but I came home feeling extremely thankful and blessed to be in this season of my life.
Easter is one of my favorite holidays as it’s a time to remember why we are truly here and to be with loved ones. This week has flown by, and I am happy to announce we are HALF WAY through this second pregnancy, woohoo!
As most of you can guess, we chose to take Aubrey on our last trip of three before baby Warren makes his/her debut in September. So without further ado, here is our trip to San Diego.
Have you ever listened to a song for the first time and thought, “Wow, that’s catchy!” The next day or so you catch yourself humming bits and pieces of the lyrics. Then, once you know all the words, that song just hits you.
A few months ago I had the honor of meeting Stephanie, creator of StephTaylorJackson blog, at a blogger crawl on Market Street. Stephanie was one of the bloggers at this fun little meet up, and I knew she had something special!
Most people probably wouldn’t even think twice about their job while away, but I couldn’t help jotting down ideas and planning out my weeks ahead. During this free time, I also reevaluated the kind of leader I am and want to be.
A few months ago I had the honor of meeting Elly Brown, creator of Uptown with Elly Brown blog, at a blogger crawl on Market Street. Elly was one of several bloggers at this fun meet up, and she was instantly one of my favorites.
Recently, I met the incredible Lilly E. B., creator of the Daily-Craving blog. With over 14,000 Instagram followers, countless appearances, and hosting opportunities for multiple locations, I was intrigued as what has made Lilly so successful.
Aubrey is quick, smart, funny, and extremely kind for her age. She doesn’t know it, but I’ve learned so much from her. Here are a few life lessons this little munchkin has already taught me.
In my recent Q&A post, I briefly mentioned my favorite book, What I Know For Sure by Oprah Winfrey. This book is filled with remarkable short stories that dig deep into the heart of Oprah, as she imparts her wisdom on her readers.
Lately I’ve been receiving a lot of messages with different questions about my life, so I decided to do a Q&A and let you get to know me!
There are 3 thoughts that have hindered my personal growth for a long time. I share these thoughts in hopes that if you have similar ones, you’ll recognize it and send those thoughts your love.
Good habits will allow you to still feel successful and fulfilled with any lifestyle you may have. If you want to know how I balance family, work, and personal time then keep on reading the habits that have helped me.
Now more than ever, I feel that I’m my “best self.” Truthfully, it only took a few simple steps for me to reach this state of joy. In this post, I want to help you find (or continue to develop) the path to your best self.
Beauty
There are three Fall trends that I’m currently obsessed with. I love to try new trends, but I really like it when they also work for mine and other body types.
I wasn’t planning on posting any new content until Monday when I return to work, but when the opportunity to work with Love Your Melon came along, I just couldn’t resist. It is rare that a brand touches my heart so deeply it brings tears to my eyes every time I read their mission statement.
Being 33 weeks pregnant in the Las Vegas heat wasn’t the first place that popped into my head to spend a weekend alone with my husband.
With wedding season in full bloom, I knew it would be a great time to share some of my favorite wedding products with you all. I just love the idea of planning a wedding and picking out all of the decor and dainty details.
To start the week off right, I wanted to share with you all my favorite tees at the moment. If you follow me on other social media platforms you have seen me non-stop in the four tees I have shared below.
This post is so special to me because my mini could FINALLY be in photos with me. It was so fun to see how sassy and and excited she was the entire time.
I recently wore this dress to a close family friend of mine quinceanera. This dress is not maternity, but it is so comfortable for a growing bump and I adore the cut out sleeves.
I am a very busy mom and online shopping is one the best ways for me to get the deals I want without all the fuss or headache that can come from shopping in person on Black Friday. This year more than ever I feel like the savings are starting earlier and are better than ever.
This year, the only person that it will be difficult to shop for is my husband. As you’d imagine, over the past seven years I’ve already given him all the typical “manly” gifts. After all this time, I’m running out of ideas!
Let’s talk about how to tie a blanket scarf, shall we? I have a feeling this trend will be very popular again this Fall and Winter season, and if you haven’t tried it already you’re missing out!
It is the first official day of Fall, and I wanted to do a fun fashion haul! In this video you will see affordable pieces I have recently picked up and will definitely be incorporating into my wardrobe for my favorite season.
If you’re like me, you love to stay on top of trends and will try anything new that catches your eye. Here are Summer trends that can transition into Fall!

I can’t believe the time has come for us to celebrate Gavin’s first birthday! This sweet boy has completely changed our lives, and we can’t imagine a world without him. I don’t want to make this post too sappy because I’m already holding back the tears and contemplating having a glass of wine, so I’ll keep this as cheerful as I can.
Today it hit me. Our little baby isn’t so little anymore.
