GOOD NEWS + GOOD FRIDAY

Happy Good Friday to all of you!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays as it’s a time to remember why we are truly here and to be with loved ones. This week has flown by, and I am happy to announce we are HALF WAY through this second pregnancy, woohoo! The good news I have is that I am not a high risk pregnancy. This was a concern of mine due to pain I’ve been experiencing, slight bleeding, and swelling that has begun so early with this second pregnancy. My test results came back great, and hopefully with some slight changes to diet and activity I will be feeling normal again here pretty soon. Here’s a little bump update for you all:

How Far Along Are You?

I’m 20 weeks now!! This pregnancy is going by so fast. I can not believe we are half way, or more than halfway there already. I had Aubrey at 38 weeks, and that means we could have as little as 18 weeks until Gavin is here. ❤

What Differences Are You Feeling In This Pregnancy? (Girl vs Boy)

As I’ve mentioned before, I am definitely showing more this time around and I feel like my belly is shaped differently too ha. It is definitely higher and rounder, where my daughter was lower and more to the sides. I am also only craving things with salt or buffalo sauce. With Aubrey, all I wanted was ice cream and cookies yumm.

Have You Felt Him Kick Yet?

Yes! Every night is when he is more demanding that we stop and feel him move around. It’s really fun to get Aubrey involved and see her reactions when her little brother is being so active.

Have You Started Decorating His Nursery?

Actually, we have! If you follow me on social media, you’ve seen in my stories the painting and even bedding we have picked out for him. There are several more pinterest projects I have on my list to do, sorry  hubby, but it’s going to be so cute!!

What Helps to Keep Your Energy Up?

I’ve said this before, but I am in unusual pain to only be 20 weeks along. I try to not think about this pain and go workout anyways. I love going to my husband’s strength+conditioning classes 4 times a week. It also helps that I have sweet friends there that make me laugh and keep me motivated. I also enjoy reading or listening to podcasts that help keep me in a positive mindset as well.

Any Pregnancy Trends That Are A Must Try?

I try to still remain trendy even with my growing belly haha. I picked up these beautiful navy tassel accessories from HM at a really great price too. I find that shoes and accessories are your best friends during pregnancy. Although your pants, and even tops, may be loose or ever changing, you can still remain true to your style and current with the season by changing a few things.

I hope you all have a great Easter weekend and spend it with those that mean the most to you!

Best,
