Hello loves!
If you follow me on other social media platforms, you know that I was busy traveling for work last week and I am finally getting into the groove of things. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend with your friends and loved ones. There’s quite a bit for us to catch up on, and I’ll do my best to have all the posts out soon!
I recently wore this dress to a close family friend of mine quinceanera. This dress is not maternity, but it is so comfortable for a growing bump and I adore the cut out sleeves. I paired this dress with some fun bold accessories that will be listed below. I thought I sized up on this dress, but looking at the tag again I did purchase the small. The material gives enough stretch to still feel comfortable, but of course try two sizes on if your are hesitant.
This dress is on super sale right now, so buy it while it’s in stock!! (linked below)
BUMP UPDATE
Size Of the Baby?
Baby Gavin is the size of a spaghetti squash (8 in, 1 lbs), and boy do I feel the pressure. It’s becoming more difficult to stay active and up to speed in workout classes, but I still go even to make myself mentally feel better. I’m also oddly enough noticing the difference in my belly shape in comparison to when I carried my daughter. My belly is lower and definitely more pointy and to a peak this time around.
How Are You Feeling?
I’m still full of energy and what I like to think my normal self. I occasionally get random back pains after standing or sitting in the same position for too long. I am also sadly starting to have pregnancy brain. I forget why I’m in the kitchen or that I’m curling my hair haha.
Any Exciting News?
Well, we have officially finished painting Gavin’s room and slowly but surely have started decorating! We are going for a vintage sports theme and I can’t wait to share the completed look with you all. I’ll soon be doing my baby registry and I’ll be sharing that as well!
How is Aubrey Doing With the Idea of a Sibling?
It’s too early to tell, but she seems to be really excited. Some days she does mention how she wishes Gavin was a girl ha, but I think it’s normal for any child to want the same sex sibling for them to play with. As for Kevin and I, we literally can’t stop smiling when we think about a little boy running around our house. I know our family will feel that much more complete as the FOUR of us 🙂
Best,
