Hello loves!
I still can’t believe I am a mommy of two kiddos! Gavin is three weeks old and we are finally out of the house running errands and finding our groove.
I would be lying if I said it’s been easy. To my surprise, Gavin is the easy one! His newborn routine has not been the hard adjustment for me, it’s my three-year old daughter Aubrey that has been tough. She wants to be involved in everything.
I love how sweet and attentive Aubrey has been to her baby brother. It’s only difficult when it’s 3am and because she wakes up on her own to help, she then doesn’t want to fall asleep once after Gavin already has.
But I love it. I love it all. I love the imagination my three-year old has. From her imaginary pool parties, swimming parties, dance parties, and most recently a safari hunt, I enjoy it all. And as far as Gavin is, this new born stage couldn’t be sweeter. His cuddles and smiles melt my heart. He holds my finger during feedings and gives me the biggest smile once he’s satisfied. He truly is such a sweet heart.
Amongst all this love is a mommy who somedays doesn’t wash her hair ha! I forget to eat lunch most days and have my “morning coffee” after 5pm. It’s true that my lunch is usually after 7pm as well. Being home with two littles is non-stop from morning to night.
That is why I am so excited about some wardrobe pieces I received from Ingrid & Isabel. Their entire collection is maternity chic that can be used post-partum as well. I would describe my recent style as casual mommy on the go, and all of their pieces fit just that! I love this black tank dress that can be dressed up or down. Getting out of the house is hard as it is, and adding comfort to an effortless look is my go to.
Best,
