Hello loves!
Most of you have asked how I manage to work full time and still find the balance to be a wife and mother. This continues to be the primary questions I receive week to week. Although I feel it is natural to be this busy, I can see how it may not be the “norm”. Today on the blog, I will share three tips on how I manage to balance it all, or TRY to!
1. Have your work life and personal life all mapped out on one calendar!
In the past, I used to have my personal appointments and work schedule on separate calendars, but what has happened one too many times is that events tend to overlap. Especially now with my blog calendar, it is easy to miss one key date for posting or to do a work task if it is not all planned and mapped out. The easiest way for me to do this is to have both calendars on my outlook and synced with my iPhone. I set daily reminders and alerts before the next day or upcoming weekend to help me on task.
2. Ask for help when you need it!
This is a hard one for me since I am “go-getter” “women can do it all” sort of attitude, but having my husband or even co-worker help with something has really helped me immensely. I reach out to my fellow co-workers that have different strengths than I do and most of the time better ideas too ha! My husband is so supportive and will help take the kids a bath or feed them if it means I am having a late night finishing work related tasks or even following up with my social media accounts. Ask those around you for help and your to-do lists will become shorter!
3. Take time for yourself to relax, recover, and reenergize!
I am a firm believer that you can’t be your best self unless you feel like your best self. I love to read a book, listen to a podcast, get my nails done, or enjoy a nice long bath to clear my thoughts and organize my goals. This is so important especially if you are pulled in more than one direction. I encourage you to find the time to be alone at times and just relax. I understand it can be difficult to find the time but there has to be at least ten minutes in a week that you can spare.
I am curious to know what other tips you have to help balance your life. Please leave your suggestions in the comments below.

Best,
